🧵 WHAT IS FSL?

FSL means “freestanding lace.” The design is stitched directly onto water-soluble stabilizer without fabric. After embroidery, the stabilizer is rinsed away, leaving a beautiful lace piece made entirely from thread.

For the best result, use high-quality embroidery thread in both the needle and bobbin and hoop the water-soluble stabilizer firmly. We recommend stitching at a low or medium speed and making a test stitch-out before starting the final project.
